healthy essential oil blend

After some research on essential oils that have proven antibiotic, anti-viral, anti-fungal and anti-microbial (parasites included) properties, I decided to mix up my own blend of oils to help mitigate against these nasties. Some of you have been asking what the blend was that I was using for massage before closing, so here’s the recipe.  Is it effective?  I honestly don’t know.  But between this and using ViraClear (or V Clear EPS 7630, its new name) at the first inkling that I might be getting sick, I’ve cut the number of colds and flu I get to one a year. This blend cannot hurt you as long as you don’t drink it. Here’s the recipe I use, which includes the ingredients used in the Middle Ages to ward off the bubonic plague.
Tess’ Healthy Blend:

Put this many drops of the following oils into a dark glass bottle with a dropper lid.  Add a little carrier oil like fractionated coconut oil, almond oil, or jojoba oil to keep the hot oils from burning.  Apply about ¼ a dropper on the bottoms of your feet being going to bed.
15 cinnamon
15 tea tree oil
12  oregano
15 thyme
15 eucalyptus
15 melissa
15 black pepper
12 grapefruit*
15 bergamot
15 clove
12 rosemary
12 spearmint
12 lemongrass
5 clary sage
15 Roman chamomile
15 lemon
15 On Guard (DoTerra blend)
15 Breathe (DoTerra blend)
15 geranium
*Delete grapefruit from your blend if you take statins for high cholesterol
If you’d like to order some essential oils wholesale from DoTerra, here's how you can do this.  I’ve researched MANY different companies trying to find less expensive oils that are just as high quality, and I’ve discovered that by the time I get free oils with the points I rack up by purchasing a couple each month, they’re actually less expensive over the long haul than many lesser-quality brands.

I love using essential oils for many different things.  I sprayed some of my insect repellant blend on this morning before I went out to the garden, and my husband said, “Mmmm.  You smell good!”  Yes, I do. And I don’t get sick or bitten by mosquitoes.  So it’s all good.
